Security Is Built In Layers

Security experts talk about creating “layers” because each additional precautionary measure makes life a little harder for aspiring criminals.

Most security layers are available to individual households (e.g., alarm systems, cameras, etc.), but some require a group effort.

That’s where we come in. Safer Rockridge operates a community-supported unarmed patrol service that deters crime and provides assistance should an incident occur.

Recently, we increased our patrol hours to address rising criminal activity, but our expanded program is not sustainable without additional support from the community.
