Contribute
Recurring contributions are the lifeblood of our organization – please consider joining your neighbors and local businesses who support us. The average monthly contribution is $30, just as it was back in 2014 when the service first launched.
We accept donations made either annually, quarterly, monthly (most common), or weekly. Recurring donations provide a consistent and stable income for the organization and allow us to plan for the future – including whether and to what extent we can afford to expand patrols. We also accept and appreciate one-time donations. You can select your donation frequency when you click the Contribution link. Please note that recurring donations can be cancelled at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are funds used?
Safer Rockridge Patrols are a FREE service to all, funded by your generous contributions. Patrol hours correlate directly to the amount of the funds raised each month. Approximately 95% of your contribution goes directly to paying fees for the patrols. The balance pays for nominal expenses (website, community outreach, PayPal fees, if applicable, etc.). The board of directors are residents who generously volunteer their time and care for free. You can cancel at any time!
How can I cancel a recurring donation?
If you set up your recurring donation through our website, you can log in using the same email address you used to set up your donation, and modify or cancel future recurring payments.
If you set up your recurring donation through PayPal, you can cancel through your PayPal account. Simply go to Settings, select Payments, and then scroll to the bottom of the page to select "Automatic Payments." Choose Safer Rockridge and at the bottom you will see an option to "Stop paying with PayPal." This will cancel any future payments.

Can I contribute without setting up a PayPal account?
Yes! You don’t need a PayPal account to contribute online. Use the Contribute button here, and just check out without setting up a PayPal account.
I don’t want to set up online payments. Can I still contribute?
