Security Is Built In Layers

Security experts talk about creating “layers” because each additional precautionary measure makes life a little harder for aspiring criminals.

Most security layers are available to individual households (e.g., alarm systems, cameras, etc.), but some require a group effort.

That’s where we come in. Safer Rockridge operates a community-supported unarmed patrol service that deters crime and provides assistance should an incident occur.

Effective November 1, 2025, we will be increasing our patrol hours to address a recent uptick in break-ins, but our expanded program is not sustainable without additional support from the community.
